Originally from St. Louis, Jared “Jay Konner” Konersman started playing guitar as a young teenager. He played his first show at 15 years old and immediately fell in love with performing on stage.

Tiki House
You can regularly find Jay performing at the exotic and original Tiki House. Tiki House is a small but cozy bar with its own unique personality, and serves both traditional tiki cocktails and modern unique recipes to satisfy anyone’s taste. With live music seven nights a week, the Tiki House’s atmosphere and experience is not one to miss. Not only is Jay one of the premier entertainers at Tiki House, he is also part-owner! Irish Kevin’s
Jay has spent a full decade performing at a very famous Key West pub called Irish Kevin’s. Known for its high-energy entertainment, extensive beer selection, and inviting atmosphere, this high-capacity pub is a frequent stop for tourists and locals alike. He began there in 2013 with his drummer, Jim, as “The Jay and Jim Show,” and eventually became a staple solo act as well. Irish Kevin’s is located at 211 Duval and their website can be found here.

Finally, Jay can occasionally be found playing in other bars and restaurants all around Key West. At places like Rick’s, Durty Harry’s, Sloppy Joe’s, and The Bull, Jay is occasionally booked, called in last minute, or even found dropping in unannounced to join in with other musical acts.
